Introducing Sylvie
Sylvie Jutras, a REN XUE teacher of many years and currently living in France, was validated by Yuan Tze a few years ago as having met the requirements for REN XUE’s Fourth Stage of Realisation and Wisdom.
This stage of inner cultivation involves ‘waking up from sleeping, regaining clarity, and seeing one’s ‘True Nature’ fully. The ‘True Nature’ is then liberated from its conditioned, patterned ‘persona’ and as the True Self, can fully manifest its clarity and wisdom. This transformation stage is commonly labelled ‘enlightenment’. In REN XUE this is not seen as an endpoint but the true beginning of life cultivation. Sylvie is well on this path and has much wisdom to share.
We are most fortunate to have Sylvie as the teacher for an online retreat for Africa participants in September 2026.
Sylvie will lead a weekend long immersive Yuan Qigong online retreat from 5pm Friday 4th September to 8pm Sunday 6th September.
African students will welcome her wonderfully direct and clear teaching style on REN XUE Yuan Qigong.

THEME: What gives your life true purpose and meaning?
A sense of meaning, purpose or direction in life isn’t something we can “find out there” – it actually emerges from a true understanding of ourselves, others, and the world.
This workshop, based on Ren Xue teachings, is an invitation to improve our understanding of life as a whole. In this process, we uplift our internal state of being, and awaken the natural qualities and potential of our true heart. As a result, our life can become truly healthy and positive on all levels, benefiting not only ourselves but others and nature as well.
When the mind becomes clear and the heart becomes pure, the meaning of life reveals itself.
When: 5 pm, Friday, 4th September to 8 pm, Sunday, 6th September, 2026
Where: Zoom meeting run by Sylvie (Registration is necessary to receive the
Zoom link. Register before Friday, 28th August 2026)
For whom: Exclusively African students, teachers, and people who are interested and live in Africa
Cost: R850, which is a 30% discounted price compared to her international weekend workshop offerings (usually Euros +- 70)
